It is important that all historical re-enactors wear authentic clothing. The main time period re-enacted by On-Gwe-Ho-Way is 1812-1814.
The native men of the time wore:
- Breechclout
- Thigh-length Leggings
- Cotton Shirt
- Woodland Moccasins
- Woven Sash
The native women of the time wore:
- Woodland Moccasins
- Leather Dress
- Leather or Wool Wrap Skirt
- Cotton Shirt
- Woven Sash
- Knee-high Leggings (if desired)
- Braided Leather or Woven Leg Ties
